So those with computer skills, help me! So, my internet is heckof jacked up. For some reason one day, a while ago, Firefox started crapping out, and it would say it can't connect, so now I'm using Ie. Oh yeah, I'm using Windows XP. But along with Firefox not working, I can't log into some sites, mainly my gmail account and a few others. Along with that, Soulseek won't connect, Cs won't work, Anti-spyware won't update either, I'm guessing these are all for the same reason.

I can't do a system to before this happened either :-/ Suggestions, I can give more info if needed, I just don't know what would help.

did you check all of your connections?? make sure its all secure. If you get internet from a phone line make sure your phone jack is good.

Everything is right, it works from my other computers and laptops, only this one doesn't work.

hmm. is the connection into the broken computer alright? bad cable?

I had a problem like that recently, i could only get onto the internet for about 5 minutes, and i'de get kicked off, and i couldn't connect to Limewire. And when i could get on the internet some sites wouldn't work at all, and i couldn't get on my hotmail account. All i did was take out the ethernet card and put it back in, and it started to work fine again.
