Desktop Pics
Well, I can't find the old ones we had...but a lot of forums I know have running "desktop pic" threads. I figure now that we have a tech forum, why not? Sticky possibly?
Anyways I just thought of it because my new one gives me a kick.
The conversation after I took it was pretty sweet.

Maybe my post didn't go through originally, but
this looks like a cheesy sitcom intro.

Woo! Another Linux user!
Woo! Hot chick!
What distro is that? I'm considering giving KDE a try shortly, just cuz. The only time I used KDE in the past was back when I tried Knoppix, and, well, I didn't dig it at all. I like Gnome, but there are a few things about KDE that look pretty sweet.

It's debian, and my favorite distribution that i've tried so far (tried about 5). It just simply kicks the most ass.
A nice thing about debian is you can have both gnome and kde installed and can choose which one before you log in (I never use gnome anymore though).
I highly reccomend trying debian. Especially if you like ubuntu since it's based off debian.

I was considering giving it a try. Plus, I think I could still use Ubuntu repos if I just copied the source list.
Just wondering, though, what do you like more about Debian that Ubuntu (assuming that is one of the five you've tried)?

Ubuntu I didn't like because of gnome and kubuntu I couldn't stand it much either for some reason. Mostly I just wanted to try something else and started using other ones.
Not to mention debian makes my e-penis so much bigger.

Yeah, as 1337 as linux makes you to begin with, I must admit, Ubuntu is sort of one of the less omgh4x. I'll try other distros, I'm sure, but I like it.
