ive been getting bored as of late with all the free mmorpg's out there and now i need another fix....

ive been wanting to get a new game (not necessarily a new release...50-60 bux is too much right now). ive narrowed down my choices to a few things....

-neverwinter nights platinum
-bauldersgate 2 box set
-dungeonsiege box set
-final fantasy v.?
-elder scrolls (not #4)
- or just waste $50 + $15 a month and get stormreach (the free trial really hooked me)

what im wanting is suggestions and opinions on what to get.....here's a few things that might help you to help me to decide....

-dont really care for cutscenes...just doesnt usually do anything for me
-love hack and slash
-hate useless grind like runescape
-loved diablo(s)
-re-playability is not a factor...ive never seen/had a game i wanted to play twice
-have always liked D+D games (even the old skool ones i.e. eye of the beholder, azure bonds....)


so, whatcha think? help a knee-gro out.....


oh yeah...i forgot to mention...its for PC

I didnt like nwn just want to fun for me. I really like elder scrolls morrowind im playing that right now. I like the fact that its first person and you can do pretty much anything.

well you could always pick up d&d. there's a mmorpg out of that now. I think they're still fixing some small bugs though, as of a couple months ago, friends on world of warcraft came back to playing because they said D&D had too many bugs. but they could possibly be solved now.

i played the new one that D+D has (stormreach)....they did have a lot of bugs at first, this i know from looking back thru the news logs. it seems that it is working pretty well now, i had no problems with it, and they are now concetrating on expanding gameplay instead of fixing errors. it just seems kinda expensive to play ($50 for the game cd and $15 a month to play online...there is no offline play w/stormreach). but, a free trial is a free trial....and i reall really liked it

im not so interested in warcraft...ive got at least 4 of their games and have never even loaded them up (they were free). i dont think i like where their line is headed. im just not into a big game of "risk"...thats all it essentially has become (to my understanding). its just too similar to heroes of might and magic...which i wore out years ago.

im kinda looking for something a little fresher..what with all the advances in 3d technology and first person styles.........if they only had a first person party game, id be all set
