Headphones
So recently I've come to terms with the fact that my 8 dollar radio shack headphones aren't going to cut it for much longer.
Simply, I want to know the best pari of headphones (preferably not earbuds, they kind of hurt) that I can get for about 30 bucks.
And just out of curiosity, also maybe the best pair for around 60-70 so I can keep my eyes on ebay for some steals maybe...
They'll be primarily used with my MP3 player which I often have on me, but most often at school. Sometimes for my computer, but mostly for out and about.

sorry, but most 30 dollar headphones won't be much better than the 8 dollar ones, you gotta throw in a little more cash to step it up
like you said, i recommend buying used, whether thats on ebay or not, you choose
But i'd look at bose headphones, w/e you do though, dont buy at sharper image, they will charge you over 50% more on some of the products they sell than other places will, for the same brands and models
so yeah look at bose

i like the koss sound deadening headphones, and i got em for 20 bucks. The only thing that sucks is that you have to be careful with the headphone jack, ive had 2 pairs go bad on me, bt im rough on them

I'm currently looking at a set of Sennheiser ones.
But yeah, those kind of ear buds aren't as bad. At least they don't hurt my ears due the different padding, but they kind of fall out....:/
That being said, I'm not really looking for really AWESOME phones. My ears probably wouldn't be able to hear a HUGE difference even with a 200+ dollar set. My ears aren't BAD, it's just that I can't pick out a lot of tiny things that make sound "better." Basically I'm looking for something that somewhat blocks out outside noise better than my current ones, and some added comfort wouldn't hurt.
I'm thinking about these ones....

I did go ahead and order the ones I posted. They're about a ka-thousand times better than my old ones, so I guess that means I'm happy with them. They don't block out ALL outside noise, but a huge deal of it.
For instance, I'm currently wearing them and listening to music at only half volume. I can't hear myself typing, but I can hear the slight hum of my computer. When the music stops, though, I can hear more. When something is coming through them though, they do a pretty sweet job of blocking outside sound. I was playing Metal Gear Online earlier with them on and when I took them off I was amazed how loud my room was with my computer and PS2 both running together (my fan in my PS2 is loud as HELL and my comp has 3 case fans, cpu fan, power suppy fan, vid card fan, AND south bridge fan, yet I think the PS2 is louder...).
So.....I'm happy with them. The sound quality is noticably better than my old ones, too. Good choice, Tony.
