have a problem with my computer. please help

well my computer is acting weird latly.(im on it now) here the problem: some links when i click them it just wont do anything except sit there not even trying to load.(i have roadrunner) and when i right click "print" does not work. "set as backround" does not work "back" DOES work. Now print will work if i go into wordpad or something and push print.

I have windows xp any help would be great. thanks you.

i also got norton around the same time it started so im not sure if thats it or not

my dad wont let me. he paid for 2 years of it. i wish i could uninstall it.

Most technicians wont recommend norton as an anti-virus and paying for Norton is crap. Most people would recommend Panda or AVG. Im sure there is a few others but most likely your problem is norton. Have your father talk to Computer Technicians about anti-virus'.

Also you do not need to uninstall it, you can always disable it by right-clicking the icon on the taskbar and choosing the disable button.

norton is still crap...try avg free after the 2 years runs out. alot better, i had full norton on my comp, a worm infiltrated the system and permanently disabled norton, then started wreaking havoc on my hard drive...so i had to reformat it and start from scratch.

i know norton sucks ass and does nothing. but my dad has no idea what hes doing and HAS to have it. and since he paid for it he has to have it
