Okay, so im fed up looking for a Wii. Ive been calling 3 local Gamestop and EBGames every day for the past 2 weeks and no luck on shipments. I have a gift card for $136.40 at either place so im basically screwed.

The only games I play are multiplayer. Mostly online multiplayer, but sometimes offline multiplayer with a group of friends.

Im looking to get a 360, mainly for the online multiplayer, like GOW. But I have a few questions. What do I need to have a good online experience? Im an Xbox noob. Do I need the premium or will the core do me just fine? How much is Xbox Live and how do you pay for it(monthly, yearly)? Also a while back i saw a camera that you can video confrence and whatever, is that out yet?

that sucks about the wii, i'm sorry - but at least you'll be getting a nice system anyway!

xbox is def your best bet if you only play multiplayer! i don't think you'll need anything other than a headset, an account, and a remote to have a good online experience for a well maintained game.

i believe if you ONLY play multiplayer, depending on how much you play you should get premium. the core version is free but you can only play on weekends i believe... and if it's all you play you might want it more than just 2 days a week. it's still up to you.

i believe that you pay monthly for live accounts - through a card linked to your bank accound weather it be credit or debit. and about the cams that allow live conference i've not seen any yet - i'm not honestly sure weather or not it's out yet... that'll have to be something you look into more about...

but why would you want to see other people anyway? lol, j/p!

Get the premium. But you will get 2 months of live for free, and then you can pay either every month or every 6 months or every year.

Saw a $49.99 XBOXLive card in a Walmart ad, a one year gold subscription.

Xbox live is a GREAT service. Best out of any of them.

Premium xbox is the way too go. I believe you get 2 months of gold free with a purchase and then you can select your method of payment.

I was really hoping that you came up with a new hybrid system that combined the Wii and the 360.

i bought xbl last year around may to play some halo2 with friends...ended up getting BF2(battlefield, not front) and ended up playing halo 2 and BF2 on xbox live sooo much, the $50 price tag paid itself off within a month id say

I have gold now that i got the 360. Too bad I cannot play xbl right now because my hard drive is ****ed up.

Good choice on the 360. Get the premium. it comes with everything you nee but a game. Xbox live is 50 bucks a year. I spend about 6 hours a day playing gears of war. It's a fun game. If you wanna play sometime my gamer tag is molestedbadger
