Help!!

Okay, just bought a zune to replace my nano(got a good deal on the zune)

Anyways, I'm trying to convert all of itunes aac files to mp3 but I can't find where itunes puts the damn files. When I go to open the files to my converter it just shows that all of the folders have no songs in them.

It'll be the cd name on the folder but when I open it theres nothing in there.

Basically, I need help converting aac to mp3. Please someone help.

There is an iTunes library folder somewhere. I might have iTunes lemme look. I came up with,

My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music

thats the iTunes folder, you can figure out how to convert, because I dont know.

Hopefully you still have the Nano - you can grab the music from the iPod (using MusicRescue), put them on your computer, convert them, and put them on your Zune.

The files are probably wherever you downloaded them. If your like me, you have a folder where music goes to when you download it. Then after you've downloaded the file, you add it to the itunes library- BUT YOU KEEP THE FILE IN THE DOWNLOAD FOLDER. This is useful because you can reseed torrents (you should seed them btw), plus you don't end up with duplicates of the file (one in mp3 in your download folder, and one in mp4 in your itunes folder).

So open up whatever program you use to download music from. In one of the dropdown menus at the top you will find something that says options or preferences. Click on it and then look for something that says Download Directory and has a folder linked in it. Thats the folder where your songs are.

If not, think of one artist that you have a lot of music from, and do a windows search. Chances are the folder its in will have the rest of your music.

I think he ripped them from CDs. Therefore, there would not be a "download" folder.

Okay, I've got about 500 million album folders and so far I've been opening them and copying there contents onto the converter. Is there anyway I can put them all on in one big mass or do I have to keep opening each individual folder.
