The could have rode out COD4 for a bit longer, IMO. But I'm sure COD4 will always be active on LIVE. US/UK vs. Russia is kind of a snore - been there done that a hundred times. Why not take on China or something? Stupid politics.

Yeah, I agree. I am SO excited for this game... A lot of people were pissed that CoD:WaW was the same game multiplayer-wise but I'm glad they kept it the same - if it aint broke, don't fix it.
They will definitely need to mix it up more for MW2 though. I'm feeling 24-player mayhem for a new matchmaking set.

there are some things they could do better...ie leaning against structure, a rocket you can guide, maybe dynamic control of helicopters, etc. im excited to see what they come out with

Yeah I agree. IMO COD2 and 3 had really bad online systems. The user interface was a bit awkward and it felt choppy when playing. COD4 was great, the new guns, great graphics, levels, etc. WaW was also good, the only thing is the old guns are alright, I prefer COD4: Modern Warfare so this one will be amazing.

This is gonna be the ****. Activision made the right choice letting IW have free reign with this new Modern Warfare franchise, and not letting Treyarch anywhere near it. Treyarch can make all the ****ty WW2 games they want, as long as IW is still making games in this new offshoot series.
jk....i had wanted to get all the up the prestige ladder with my character....cuz i know once i touch MW2 multi i wont be using cod4 anymore. i guess thatts just gonna go unfinished!
