hey whoever has an x-box or doesnt has to agree that it is the best system on earth.If not say why.If you like gamecube dont come in ,unless yopu have phantsy star online.Halo and crimson sea are unbeatable

tell me one good reason that PS2 even compares to the X-box.x-box graphics are better.better games (besides grand theft auto)the xbox has live halo,unreal champ,hunter,crimson sea and the list goes on.Although i would have to say that if not for the xbox i would be owning a PS2.So they do have a good place.But game cube,thats sad

Well, my brother and I have all three systems: Gamecube, X-box, and PS2.....X-box is the best (thats why i use it and my bro gets PS2, except i keep GTA Vice City

) The gamecube is great to take on long trips, I have the screen for it and 2 wireless controllers. We stick it in the truck on long car rides. Its small sizew makes it great to travel with.

Hardware-wise the Xbox owns all the other systems. It's far more powerful than a PS2 or GC, and the variety of games is huge simply because Microsoft can buy out any game company that doesn't heed to their wishes (yes, it's actually happened- before Xbox came out, Microsoft bought out BUNGIE, makers of fine games like Oni and Pimps At Sea, simply to have Halo as their premier title on Xbox's release)

I don't like the Xbox, as beautiful and enriching as it is to play it...I mean, look at it! I bet I could take out my car's radiator, replace it with an Xbox and STILL drive around forever. And who knows what other uses it has...

As much as I hate Microsoft (which is the main reason I don't like Xbox), I'll never go to Apple....Microsoft's domination of the market is a good thing simply because everything is Microsoft- there are never compatability problems, like with Apple. When's the last time I went to buy a game and was turned off by the fact that it was made only for Apple PCs? I'll be long dead before that ever happens.

So to sum it all up:

THE GOOD- Tons of games, graphically beautiful...it's a PC in a box, without Windows (a definitive plus!

)

THE BAD- It's Microsoft

but anyways xbox owns of course because of superior games, online feature, power, and graphics makes it the best but ive been having problems lately with one of my boxes because at one of my HALO parties someone got a hub cable caught on their foot and it fell to the ground

i dont stand up for either this is becoming a magvrscocker type debate they both have pros and cons.

personally i own a ps2 and i think it kicks ass but its very hard to go online with it.

i want a xbox but i figure its a waste of money right now because im saving for a mag or cocker or some higher end gun plus i dont play either ps2 or xbox (if i had 1) very much, i stick with PC mostly. video game consoles are very cool when freinds come over but are kinda lame 1 player

ps2 is ok for when ur playin by urself, but with xbox, i have a couple parties a week and have about 12 people over and hook up 3 xbox's together, try and compare ps2 to that

I mean guys look everyone had a ps1 or somethign sony. Sony has been around for a good while and Xbox hasn't been out that long yeah its far more superior ,but don't you want some thing you know is gonna last and whoever said Xbox has the most games......no. Ps2 ownz in that department Xbox might be coming out with alot of new games but games that are out now out... no.

xbox may not have as many games out as the ps2 but it doesnt really matter .the better the games the better the system.ps2 does have grand theft thouhg ill give it that .But cube what does that have.MArio sunshine(how gay)and then anmal house or whatever.i dont tyhink they even have one mature game

Paintball is still better than both of them, so I don't see what everyone is getting so riled up about.

X-Box has better hardware, hands down.

PS2 has a better selection of games, hands down.

Both systems have a select few 'must-have' games, hands down.

People make a huge stink about how X-Box is made by Microsoft, and 'boooo!' because Micro$oft is, like, a huge evil corporation. Fact is, $ony is a huge evil corporation too, who-da-thunk-it? Simply that Sony doesn't have competetors like Apple who are constantly muckraking about and digging up scandals on Microsoft. Microsoft is, yes, more cut-throat and underhanded in their dealings- but the fact is, Sony doesn't have half the competition in it's main arena (audio gadgets) as Microsoft has in it's (opperating systems and software). All commercial corporations, make no joke about it, are just as 'evil' as Microsoft. MS, simply, is in the spotlight 24/7. Nobody would care what Microsoft pulled if their operating system was anything as reliable as Linux. The only reason consumers are appalled is that their spyware crashes and makes a mess of itself. Otherwise, nobody would have an excuse to mind.

Longwinded of me, I know.

Now then- PS2 wins in the arena of controlers. Come on, folks, enough with the Art-Deco asymetrical controlers. D-Pad on one side, buttons on the other, and let that be that. Shoulder buttons, not triggers, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give it a rest with the schizophrenic D-pad that doubles as four buttons! Nobody wants that! It's confusing!

Now then, X-Box has some pretty killer looking 'up-and-comming' titles (BC and Project Ego come to mind, both by Lionhead Studios), but God only knows when those will be out, and maybe I'll have a PS3 by then anyways, so who cares?

I think that Microsoft was pretty ill-equipped to enter the gaming arena. The hardware was there, but that's nothing without a decent line up of games. Once the games get here, maybe I'll cash in my chips for an X-Box, but come on everyeone, Halo isn't going to float you forever.

Gamecube, on the other hand, beats out both of these when it comes to parties. Otherwise, screw it.

Actually XBOX only has like 45 or so less games than PS2, its just PS2 has more games that are actually good
