PS2 is great, the best games, Xbox is nice but way too big and heavy. i love the PS2 controllers, u cant beat those with pressure sensitivity.

and of course, all other games that are on xbox live because that is just sweet playing live.

note, these are really good games that and not just mediocre or even good games

if you say judge by the size and weight of a console you should be slapped so hard anyway ps2 is good but xbox=THE ****
xbox only has 45 more fewer games than ps2 and theres like 45 sucky games for ps2 there now where even now back to the topic
when halo 2 comes out this fall its over ps2 is over halo is the next generation in gaming than you very much and xbox is better
including it has better graphics might i say XBOX live too which i could school you at in mechassualt

Ok, PS2 is way better than xbox, graphics depend on the game, and are limited by the system, a quote from OPM the "U" part of 26 reasons why to own a ps2 " Unlimited Potential. Man, This took so long to think of..... And dont get me started with PS1 games that still kick ass....... My fingers are sore, can you guess why? Man I shoulda warned you guys not to get me going with good games, all of whitch I want to buy, but only most I have played at freinds house, then borrowed them from that person. Some I own. The only reason PS2 is bad(wicth is a good thing) that there are too many games, not enough money.....

well while i enjoyed getting a good laugh from that extensive list of "good" ps2 games this little sentence got me on the ground "GT3 has some of the best graphics to date" now i hope you mean for the ps2 because those graphics arent within ten miles of good but whatever you say. that whole 25 percent of its power thing is not referring to graphics exclusively but they drew you in to believe that. gaming artists cant even dream of taking full advantage of xbox's graphical capabilities because it can support so many polygons. and if you want to see graphics.....check out halo 2.

and btw, i could make a list that extensive for the gc so you might as well just delete that.

who do you all think will have the best systems in 05?? xbox next, ps3, or the new gamecube??

im personally dont think theres enough info. for me to make a good opinion but sony and xbox are both sounding really really promising

Gamecube IMO can be held to the standards of PS2, well.... almost, its not as fast, or as sharp, but it does have some extradinary games, backed by good ones. I dont know who will have the best system in 05, All i know is ps3 has been made, but it weighs 97 pounds and has the processing power of 16 PS2s smushed together, that was last year september, now the have another one that weighs like 80 sumthing and is even more powerful, if you haven't been informed, almost all consoles have started out at outrageous weights and then refined to be better(and a lot lighter)

out of those ps2 is the slowest of the bunch, and all that "unlimited potiential" crap is just a way sony is trying to keep customers from leaving. And as for the graphics, its a no contest for xbox. Look at gt3 then glance over to Splinter Cell or a Halo 2 demo....crap your pants.....enjoy.

can't forget Xbox supports HDTV and 5.1 surround sound. So users of xbox, surround sound, and hdtv, like myself can hook it up enjoy sweet ass visuals and audio clues too.

silly boy, ive converted dozens of hardcore ps2 fans and they have joined the side of the box.

but anyways, the gamecube is a competing system for xbox (excluding games) because it is also infinately times better than a ps2 if it was as popular because the graphics are almost as good as xbox

Whats a proccesor without games, its like the comp youre sitting at now, you could have the latest overclocked 3.0 gigahertz comp, overclocked to 4.0, but it wouldnt do a damn thing if it was programmed. Sure the proccessor is a bit slower, but the system sets the limits, the game sets how advanced everything is.PS2 has better online gaming, who would pay lots of money just for a few extra levels in splinter cell? If youre reading what im typing off the website, you can play most games, (Twisted metal black, ATV offroad.........) Cause yea, The sony network adapter supports narrowband and broad.
