this game is deffinitly revolutinize gamming, the graphics engine is amazing
Developed by Infogrames’ Legend Entertainment, Unreal II: The Awakening uses next-generation Unreal technology created by the masterminds at Epic to deliver intense life-or-death action in the most breathtaking scenery and environments ever displayed in a computer game.

In the game, players jump into the scarred combat boots of a grizzled lawman of the future, dispatched to more than 10 unique worlds to battle a torrent of bizarre alien creatures and hard-hitting enemy soldiers to stop an malevolent plot to awaken an ancient power. Between missions, players return to an orbiting ship where they can interact with their crew members, research items acquired during missions and refresh their arsenal. Designed to challenge both the hardcore ‘fragger’ and welcome the first time FPSer, Unreal II: The Awakening can be played fast and furious by the adrenaline junky or more slowly to ease newer players into the fray.

Focusing on innovative gameplay, Unreal II: The Awakening poses unique tactical challenges in each mission, including the rescuing of hostages, assaulting enemy fortresses, escorting civilians, stealth infiltration, defending outposts and more traditional search-and-destroy sorties. The game also includes elements of exploration and discovery in exotic new settings that range from stunningly realistic outdoor terrain to spine-chilling alien cities, dark undersea bases, archaeological dig sites and more.

me and bobsouderson have the same view point on a lot of things, and this is one of them. unreal tournament is a good game but it lacks something, hmmm what could it be maybe PLOT! this game has no plot whatsoever which causes it to get boring very quickly. i think it is one of those games where you can only play when you have 4 people.

well u didnt read my post, i agree with u on UT but im talkin about U2 the new unreal game, its not multiplayer.

its gonna be good, but it won't revolutionize nething. the graphics and concept have been done before, what i m waiting for it doom 3, it is suposed to have the most advanced graphics engine ever made for a game, and it is from the doom series, so it can't suck!

u got the 9700 pro or one of the earlier ones?? but anyways doesnt the box run a gforce 3??

yea, the box has a gforce 3, or a custom one for it, i can't remember. i ordered the 9700 pro, but i cancled the order today and ordered the gforce 4 in its place, its much better. i did some research and discovered that radeon's r sweet, but have a few compatibilty problems, and i didn't want to deal with that crap
