im pissed off. i was at a friends and played halo and warcraft for the first time. im so mad, i loved those games, and im wanting an X-Box so bad now. i would trade anyone my PS2 for it. i even broke out the N64 and perfect dark to get the Halo "feeling"

its not coin out for the comp for a while, the controls r gonna be wierd on the comp. u can play it online for the x-box, just hook the box to the comp and play on gamespy

the controls will be good for the comp because it was originally going to come out for comp first. but im going to buy Xbox for that game and another, cause i want to link some systems together, even though it will never beat the comp.

yea, but that was a totally different game, when the anounced for xbox, they scraped what they had and started from scratch. there is to mny secondary functions and crap, itwould be ackward to play

on a different subject, does anyone know what cords u can use to link up the cables, someone said i could use a rt45 ethernet cable, and i heard phone cords work. please fill me in. thnks

if ur talkin bou xbox, u need lan. u hook them up w/ cat5 cable or u can by specialy made cable for i. i think there r other ways to do i though. ask swarthout

joe where can i find the ethernet crossover cables, do u think Bestbuy would have them??

i was always the top 1or2 when we played 3v3, i dont know bout this touny were going to have, bills inviting a bunch of people that noone wants, or at least i thaught i heard him say that giblin and one of his friends was going to show up, i dont want that to happen. i doubt it will, i probably misheard bill, but we need to make sure that kinda stuff doesnt happen.

Uh.... No, The controls rock on FPS on PCs, I can't wait till Planetside comes out, thats the no doubt Halo Killer, Somebody that doesnt want PlanetSide is insane.

yea, comp FPS's are so much better then playing with a controller....

but planteside is like a massive online roleplay/fps game, u can play on 3 diff sides and its just an all out war between them, u can operate vehicles, be ground infantry, and do a lot more... its gonna be so kick ass

i personally cant stand pc fps' because i hate using the mouse and keyboard, it just feels very awkward for me but when i played batllefield it really didnt take away from the experience but i still wouldve preferred it to be on a game system
