i have all the systems and i play the cube the least, i dunno they just dont have many games that appeal to me. my brother plays it alot tho

the system it self is very very good, the only problem is that the games they have cant compare with xboxs or PS2s, thats the only reason im getting a xbox bfore a cube.

if the gc had more games than i would defiantely buy it also because it is also better than ps2 gaming wise but not for games unfortunately........

sabman........no ofense or anything but dont you think your kind of way to opsessed with video games. all you reall need is one of the newer systyms like xbox.cube or ps2. isnt it kind of a waste of money. for all of those systems about 3/4 of the games are the same. madden and other sport games are made for all of them plus many other war and action games??????????????

i bought mine cuz the gameplay was simpler (for my kids)...otherwise i would prob get an xbox. they do have one game i really dig...Freekstyle, its a cool little motorcycle game. been at it for about a month (3 or 4 hrs a day) and still havnt beat it, but im real close.

i dont like it because the games are for little kids, and its the exact same games again and again and again. also the thing isnt even a cube, its a rectangular prism.

its a lot easier to say gamecube than it is to say gamerectangularprism though. and also i like my cube but that is probably a lot because my brothers are both nintendo fanatics and i probably wouldnt even have the cube if my aunt hadnt bought it for me, but most of the games out are the same and the only other game i wish i could get is HALO

uh, i have a gamecube, and i agree it is a pretty "child-based" system, but its still fun. it got taken away from me from my parents for getting bad grades, and i havent played it in like 3 months, so i kinda wanna sell it. PM me for more details about it..

Yes i have all the systems but im not obessed with games. I really only play my consoles when my friends drop by...and as for the waste of money, go to cribs thread for a reason of why i dont really care.

pick up the damn console and look at it from the top and side.. the height is not the same as the length or width. and last time i checked a cube has to have all sides equal...

and same games... they keep bringing back the games from their first systems.. mario, super smash bros, metriod prime, mariokart, etc.

stupid canadian, those games are easily substantially different and if metroid prime was just another remake than why was it so awesome and got so many perfect reviews, and ever heard of the gta series, just remaking the game with a few extra twists and yet it's probably the most succesful (stupid but still succesful) game ever.

sorry d-smalls but ill have to side with bob on this one. And btw, metroid prime had almost zero similarities to the old version. And a sequel isnt always a bad things. hell even resident evil remake was fricken sweeeeeeet. and it is nearly a cube so who cares. and no offense but why the hell do you care what shape it is? and about bob not saying anything intelligent...most stupid thing ive heard out of you. he has 2,504 intelligent posts goin for him ok? even if i dont agree with some of them they are still intelligently put and actually made me think.

i like the way nintendo brings back old characters and puts them into new games. it is not like they just took an original nintendo game and made it for the cube. they took the character and made the game completely different from what it was originally. why get rid of great characters?
