you cant get on actual xbox live service but you can play online. I forgot what the service is called but it basically tricks your xbox into thinking you are playing a lan game

u have to DL a patch and hook the Xbox to ur comp and get it from the comp onto the xbox, then u can play halo, it a very hard thing to do. i think a kid i talk to did it or tried and said there was like no servers.
