i don't like aoe that much. i am HUGE c&c fan and a craft fan. i do play a lil AOE though. i used to be insanely goo w/ a soviet tank rush in RA2, i was ranked in the top 500 one month. now, i can barely win as soviets. i pretty much only play shooters now

i just dont like those people that come at you in the first 2 mins of the game with a engineer rush or banshees (TS) it really pisses me off. at least let us get our bases built then we'll kill eachother.

i used to play the expansion version of teh first aoe, i could have about a 150 elephant army built and headed at an enemy basee in 3 1/2 mins, no one could beat my persian rush

Has anyone played Rise of Nations yet? It's somewhat similar to AOE, but there's a lot of differences. For example, you have real national borders that move as you advance your territory, and your forces in enemy territory take attrition damage. There's 7 ages running from ancient, classical, medieval, gunpowder, enlightenment, industrial, modern and information. In the information age you can have stealth bombers and nuclear weapons. Its like AOE on crack.
