HL-2 Problems
Alright...i got a Laptop 1.6 ghz, 512 mb mem, etc.
I loaded HL-2 onto my comp and when i try to play it, an "Engine Error" message pops up and reads "Unable to init shader system". Someone else mentioned something about my video card...could this be the problem? Any help is appreciated!

i have a 64mb card, somehow it pulled through half life2. when i play half life 2 or cs source i get no lag whatsoever. of course my settings are on low. also another thing is, my other system specs make up for my lack of video memory.

Nothing makes up for lack of video memory. HL2 autosets everything to your system so it will run fine...at the sacrafice of looks. However, if this doesn't bother you, you're fine.
Jason, I have an extra 64mb GF2 lying around...hit me up on aim.
