You could insure it against theft, but the premium would be high.. But the warrantee has nothing to do with theft.

actually if you paid with a credit card that offers insurance on items paid with that card (most credit cards have this service) then you can be eligible for an insurance payout.

you'd have to call the credit card company to see if they offer insurance. If they do they'll want a copy of a police report. So you'd need to know the serial number of your marker. alot of paper work.
