to report fraud go to paypal.com and at the bottom there is a ''contact us" thing there and tell them what did he rip you off on?

PM a Super and ask them for the IP of that user. Then call the FBI, adn tell them you're victim of internet fraud. Give them the IP, and the address he gave you, and they can match the address and investigate for you.
Now sure about your state/area, but my local FBI office is 617-PICKLEE (I think the Pickle e thing is just a coincidence, but whatever.

Ok I have an IP address.
So.. Now I ask you a few questions..
1) What happens when you call the cell number?
2) What "other threads" are you talking about precisely that lead you to belive he is a scammer?
3) PM me whatever e-mail, SN or whatever you have been using to try and contact him.
4) PM me your e-mail, address, and phone number.
THanks,
Medic

the cell number is a sprint number from fargo
was his paypal account verified and/or confirmed?
when you used paypal did you use funds from a credit card?
if you used credit card you should call them and tell them your situation.
when was the last time you talked with him?

that's good.
paypal will most likely cover your losses - you should file a buyer's complaint, if it is indeed a scam.
you should go ahead and call up your credit card's customer service and let them know what happened, give them a heads up.
you try calling his cell phone? it will cost you alittle long distance $$ but if he picks up, then it's worth it.
the sooner you do everything the better. even if he ends up being a legit seller...better safe than sorry.
btw, maybe i'm blind and can't see it in the thread...but what did you buy and how much money did you send?

Just do what Medic told you, and he'll hook you up. How long has it been, exactly? It might be shipping problem. Was it insured, or is there a tracking number?

if you sent via paypal, all you have to do is report him as a fraud (theres a button to do so somewhere on paypal) and they will take his money away until he shows them a tracking number

the tracking number is always on the sender's copy of the waybill.
In other words, you get a shipping number as soon as you pay.
