It lets you fire fast with little to no effort. You know how a 98 resets itself after a shot by blow-back gas, right? The RT has an air line that runs along the outside of the gun to a special cutout in the powertube. Some of the blowback goes through this hose to an air piston behind the trigger. The piston pushed the trigger out, reseting the trigger and sear for the next shot. You can control how fast this happens by adjusting the air fittings on the outside.

I have never heard of the fittings busting off ever. I had a 98 R/T for a couple months and for a woodsballer like i used to be a R/T is the way to go for higher ROF. And BTW there is no sniping in PB so dont get people started with that in this guys thread.
