So I just got done reading about what eyes are and now I'm wondering if I can get them for my 98 custom and if the flatline would get in the way. One more thing, if I were to get this, how much would it cost me?

Eyes are for electronic markers.

There is at least one E-bolted 98 with break-beam eyes. It is a straight up custom marker with very few things left on it that can be bought instead of made. I imagine other people have done it as well.

Short answer-
You can get them if you have an electric Tippmann.
It will probably cost more than just buying a new gun that already has eyes.

not like your tippy will chop anyways unless you have a response trigger and/or mods to shorten and lighten the trigger pull. and if it does, you just press down the front sight and the breech is open for easy pull-through squeegee access.

Hey thanks guys. I have a couple of other questions and I think its just better to keep on the same thread. I have a flatline so a new barrel is out of the question but what are some upgrades that are available for my 98C that some of you recommend.

Dbl trigger, Expansion chamber, bolt, and drop... Plus there are lots of cosmetic mods/upgrades for the Tippmanns.

as for eyes in a 98c, the guy that did it is like a mechanical engineer. he straight up redesigned the internals of the tippmann, and did custom milling to be able to fit the eyes in

i bet that tippman effect has eyes on there gun. But any ways like others have said u have 2 get an e-grip for it.
