Tippy Color Scheme
the 98c is kinda plain in color... i was wondering what would be a good scheme to go with (I.E. expansion chamber, barrel) i was thinking black(receiver obviously), red and silver. tell me ur ideas.

yeah i wish tippmann had some better colors then th eblack and gray...most people play woodsball tha have em, why not paint them forest green?

just sand the body down or get it bead blasted. Call any auto body stripping place around you and get it done. It only cost me $10 to get my 98 bead blasted. Then take car paint and put a few good layers of a good color, maybe that chameleon paint would be cool for a paintjob. I did a nice deep (not dark) blue. Then clearcoat that and bake it. Look it up in the painting your gun thread.
It comes out nicely if you take your time.

Mines blue. Go look under rate my marker, 350 and under (I think), look around a bit, youll see what other people have done to theirs. Personally, the next one I am gonna do will have an American flag on it.

thanks guys for the replys  ... i talked to my dad and he said if i took it to a car shop they probably would charge me a lot... i was wondering if anyone has done it (blast, powdercoat, and clear coat)and how much it costs.

I know a guy from one of my car forums. He told me he could do my 16*7 wheels for $25 apiece if I cleaned/sandblasted/sanded (Prepped) them. Not a paintball marker by any means, but it could be used as a matter of comparison
