great tutorial
just sanded and cleaned internals today
very smooth operation now

There is one way to tighten the cocking pin but it involves drilling a hole in the hammer and then tapping it for a set screw. (have a machinest do it for you)
But aside from that the cocking pin is going to be a little loose because it's going to be loose in the hammer

i think i f**ked up.
i used metal polish that contained petroleum and petroleum damages the o-rings
will it survive?

A little different but the same basic steps can be used.

320 is a little rough. I would go with some finer grade stuff.

Also if you can't get any 600 grit, Steel wool works nicely but takes longer to get a good finish (even a Brillo pad will work)
