Question Whats the best way to...

I just got a tippmann a-5, I'm expecting some money for christmas, so whats the best and most affordable way to turn it into a tactical beast, i was thinking of getting a flatline and a stock, and whats better a flatline or one of those new apex barrels that makes it curve every way u want, or maybe i should just get one of those m16 kits that comes with the m16 barrel, stock and sight rail, any suggestions would be appreciated, thx

ok the first thing you need to get is an expansion chamber. Saves you air, you shoot more consistent. But if you dont like the way it looks with two grips. take off the front one, or buy a forward grip adapter made by dead on. moves your expansion to where your front used to be. umm after that it all depends what you play. If you are a distant guy, flatline. but chrono it in at 280 or so. Mine was pretty accurate at that speed. if close or mid guy, get a cp 14 or a j&J ceramic 14. The stock all depends get a solid if you want it to look realistic. get the folding if you want to get tight to your gun at some point, (speedball, (snapshooting between trees..aka close stuff) If you want something to make your barrel better looking, buy a shroud. Mp5 style looks good and matches what the a-5 was modeled after. But the m-16 one looks good too. When putting it on though, slide it on and see where to screws will go on the barrel. Then apply 3 lairs of electrical tape, so you dont scratch the barrel. any other questions just pm me.

no shroud cosmetics are stupid and over-rated! tippmans have enough weight and bulk as it is. make it lite and a smaller target by not getting visual ups.
a good-looking barrel dosnt help you or your marker any. get only performance and function ups like x-chamber or a drop forward.

how does a drop forward make yu perform better, since your going to be a hardcore scenario man, I'd probably get the Flatline and the stock, but if you eventually do switch to speedball i'd make it lighter by any means

It moves the weight from the tank forward to the middle of the gun so you dont have to fight the weight of the tank. It also makes your marker shorter so you can manuver it around stuff easier and it makes less long target. I used to have a 21" barrel and a stock on my A-5 making it long as hell an a magnet for gunfire: as well as hard to swing it around in wooded areas durring woodsball. I also had a scope and a laser sight. The stock made it impossible to look down my sights and through my scope be cause your mask hits it and you cant drop your eye-level any further. The laser you couln't work durring the day because you couln't see the dot, and at night that red light on the end of your gun and the beam that followed it was also a magnet for gunfire. I now realize that the stock and scope and laser (although cool-looking) are retarded. Thats why all that crap had to go!

Is a bt or m4 style barrel accurate??? Idk if i should get a folding stock or a non-folding stock, does a shroud make it quiet?, and will a shroud fit on a non-flatline barrel like a j&j or something, lmk
