Barrels Like a Flatline

I was thinking about buying a 98c and a flatline, but I know that although the flatline adds a great amount of distance on your gun, the accuracy goes down. I am looking for a barrel that goes as far as a flatline, but I was wondering, can any other barrels can match/surpass the flatline in distance and accuracy?

i would not upgrade your 98 too much unless its your gun for life the flatline is too much to make it for a 98 but some other barrels are good check the smart parts progressive its fairly good and affordable

well, unless you're seriously playing on a HUGE woodsball field, you dont really need the flatline...and that is pretty much the only one that will add distance...getting a good barrel will do better, add a better ball to barrel match and make it go straighter and farther..but not as far as a flatline...get a progressive or something along those lines

Thanks, but I was just wondering, is there any other barrel than the apex that can get just as good of distance?

a flatline will give you the distance, but the problem is that at those distances many times the ball will not break. IMO, it is better to get a barrel such as a J&J one piece or Custom Products One Piece that are fairly accurate and about a third of the price, than try to longball people and just bounce them if you get lucky enough to hit them.

Checkout the Armson stealth barrel from Proteams.

Probably the best Barrels there are for Tippmans is the J&J Ceramic (go with a 14") and the CP 1-piece (14"). I prefer the CP 1-Piece for looks but the J&J is probably just as good.
