hey guys i just bought a new to me 98c today. I bought it from a friend who i have played with before and i have personally fired it. My spyder shutter broke again so i gave up and started looking for a new gun. I got the tippman 98c with a new bolt installed, a 14 inch rifled barrle and it is in awesome condition just a scratch or too, works like new with a nice hard case with eggshgell foam,a barrle condom and my tank filled and 250 balls for 110. In my opinion it was a great deal, what do you all think?

I think he said he paid 110 for the whole package. Anyways, yeah man, thats a pretty sweet deal if what you say is true and the paintjob is in good condition.

Yeah 110 is good, you'll like it, untill you get mowed by a high end and have to buy one yourself. Then all will be good.

I myself just picked up a 98 after playing with a friend of mines. 110 is a great price if it's got those extra accesories with it. I play woodsball and the speedball guys that play at my local spot who sometimes jump into some woodsball know to turn off anything but semi-auto mode, so for me, getting mowed isn't really a problem. Good pick up though. I just picked up a Ben Tippmann sealed bolt system, similar to a rocket cock, but like the older version that's a little lower profile. I recomend it. They're like $17 on most online store and it's a nice little up to have. Good luck with the new marker!

Wow $110 that is a pretty sweet deal. since you know the guy that you bought it from you probbly know that its been taken care pretty well. A great buy.

what type of bolt just a new stock bolt and what type of barrel is besides it is rifled like is it an all-american barrel or empire twister barrel or something else?
and i reccomend getting a repsonse trigger or e-grip and i do not know if you have nitro but if you do get a regulator and if you have co2 a espansion chamber

thanks for the input guys, it is the old tippman sniper barrel, the older design 14 inches, I know there are no snipers in paintball so dont flame lol, the bolt i do not know which kind but it is not stock, i bought a double trigger kit for it, new body bolts, a thumb velocity adjuster and a drop and i will do the penspring/trigger mod, it is defintaley a sweet deal especially considering the great case i got with it. Its a big black case with egg shell foam inside that i put 2 co2 tanks, my hopper,the gun, barrel, oil and tools and it all fits
