The products of combustion of propane are carbon dioxide and water. So yes it smells like ass.... if you fart Co2...

To be a firearm it has to have the propellent and bullet incased in the same shell. This is like a potato cannon, which is legal.
This is the text from a letter from the ATF about potato cannons, this gun should fall under the same laws. http://spudtech.com/content.asp?id=13

acanz thats not true actuly
there are guns coming out that use caseless ammo. its really neat actuly. It can shoot something like 240,000rds/min. Dont believe me? goto http://upi.com/SecurityTerrorism/vie...0-070112-5273r
but anyways
does anyone actuly think before they post? Tippmann wouldnt release a gun thats going to explode or shoot flames or burn the crap out of you. Im sure it went threw hundreds and thousands of tests.
has anyone actuly shot it yet? Im interested to see how it preforms.

i dunno, im gonna buy one. gee, i guess shooting paintball guns can now be classified as going down to the shooting range and poppin off some shots by the way some of you guys talk. THEY WOULDNT SELL IT IF IT WAS HARMFUL!!! the govt would be on them like flies on s&#%, and i guess if god wanted my face to be mutilated by a propane tank, so be it
oh, and BTW, a caseless cartridge weapon in testing is the h&k g11. I think its kinda cool but apparently the army dont want anything to do with them because they are retiring the m4, m16 in 2008ish and swapping for the S.C.A.R. and the xm-45. The scar will be made into two types, heavy (7.62) and the light (5.56 NATO). The xm-45 is a weapon that fires a grenade that can be programmed to explode at certain distances. Apparently they didnt like the oicw, which was all that in one, but it was a g-36 lower

I only have one thing to add. This is to all you burnt propane smells bad, isnt it harmfull, and tank over heating and exploding issue. Propane is most commonly used in gas grills. Would people use them if it made there food smell bad? Also, I live in Texas I leave my propane tank outside under grill all day every day in the hot summer it never has exploded. Yes propain does smell but not the bi-product that is released when burn, but the smell is due to the chemicals they add to it. The reason they add this chemical is so that people can smell it if there is a leak in there home. If it did not have the chemical you wouldnt be able to smell it.

im doubting it can heat up meat ball let alone the paintballs
the ball is in the barrel for about 0.003333sec assuming its moving 300ft a sec and a 12in barrel. If you can cook meat that fast thats one hell of a flame

LOL i wasnt talking about cooking it. besides that fast it would be microwaving it! hum... mcd's would LOVE a microwave that was that quick!
The first time i seen that marker i though, how the hell can u strap one of those big white propane tanks to your back?! then i though oh yeah duh... lol small coleman tank.
Then the second though was... Potato cannon! Basicly its a potato cannon but smaller.

don't worry about it being a firearm. Your car has a better chance of blowing up in front of you than this gun. ICPE! INTAKE COMPRESSION POWER EXHAUST! Yah i took auto 1! I only know a little about an internal combustion engine.
Intake valve opens, and exhaust valve is closed.
Air and fuel mixture is shot into the combustion chamber, while the piston is going down(acting like a vacuum). Then the intake valve closes and the compression stroke begins.
The piston moves up compressing the air/fuel mixture(makes a bigger explosion which makes the wheels on the bus go round and round).
Power stroke. The piston is up and the air/fuel is compressed, the spark plug fires and it ignites the air/fuel mixture, pushing the piston down which turns the cracnkshaft(which once again make the wheels on the bus go round and round).
And last but not least the exhaust stroke. The piston moves up(using the power from the power stroke) and pushes the remaining gases out through the opened exhaust valve. And then repeat the strokesYAH!
This is EXTREMELY basic in an engine, i just wanted to give you some sort of idea.
So i won't think this c3 will be dangerous whatsoever, because an AVERAGE engine has 4 pistons. And the c3 doesn't even have 1(i think)
Correct me if i messed up anywhere, Don't flame me, just giving an opinion

you're on the right track there but, the thing you missed is that the "piston" in a C-3 is closer to a two stroke than a four stroke, IE[Stage one(suck blow) Stage 2(squish bang)] as opposed to a 4 stroke Suck(out) Squish(in) bang(out) Blow(in) if my understanding is correct then the C-3 will inject some propane into the ignition chamber, and ignite it either directly behind the paintball, like in a spud gun or it will inject and detonate it behind a piston (seems more likely as semi would be easier to deisgn than pump using option A) pulling the piston back when you pump it

These are the propane fuel cells used in the Paslode Impulse Cordless Framing Nailer. You get approximately 1200 shots from this little cell (about 8in. long x 1in. Diameter)

uhh...C3 is show by the gas from combustion while your gun is shot just by pressure of a gas in a container
propane wouldnt work in your gun

1. We wire our house with 120 volts of electricity.
2. Chances are, you have either natural gas (flamable), or oil (flamable) or both in your house.
3. We drive cars loaded with enough flamable gasoline to blow the car 30 feet into the air.
4. We shoot compressed air tanks that hold 4,000 PSI of air. Thats a little scary considering nailguns run on about 90+PSI. Not to mention you put this tank right on your heart or at the base of your spine
5. When you get your CO2 filled, chances are you're standing within a danger radius of a 50lb CO2 missile.
6. If you put a match to your exhaust pipe on your car, will it light on fire?
7. If you put a match to your C3 barrel, will it light on fire (NO YOU IDIOT).

Yea Verily. People tend to overlook things a whole lot more dangerous in their life. Good Job.
