Full Automatic...oh yeah...

Ok it think this should work. i thought of this yesterday..

The sear in a newer model custom moves on a pin and is attached to a spring. When you cock your gun the bolt moves the sear forward allowing the trigger to come in contact with the sear, thus firing the gun.

My idea is to move the sear forward and grind down a pin or something and put it inside the sear next to the other one, so the sear cant move back. Now the trigger will always come in contact with the sear when you pull it and the sear will be "open" as long as you hold the trigger.

This would allow you to shoot full automatic as long as you hold the trigger. and when you let go of the trigger the sear would go back up and catch the bolt.

i realize you would not be able to uncock the gun normally (by firing the gun), so all you would have to do is remove the air source and fir the gun a couple of times.

Questions, Comments?

What do you think?

Putting a pin in the sear is not a new thing. Actually, you can do it with a simple Toothpic or Ear swab thing. And, I wouldn't try it, one it wears down both your sear, and your gun, and two, once you pull the trigger, the gun will cycle at about 35-40CPS/BPS, not even a Q-Loader can keep up with it, thus making a nice Paintball Chowder.

Vegas is right, it will be uncontrolled and inconsistent cycling, not full auto.

The F/A (Old Tippmann Full Auto marker) with the spring-powered cyclone feeder was full auto. It used a hydraulic shock-like assembly to slow down the cycle time to something useful...instead of the run away the 98 will have.
