so i got a spec ops a5-a2 with that air-through stock, and i had some problems yesterday. i was running my new 68/45 crossfire through a 32 degrees remote with a flatline barrel.

i could not get the velocity above 255 at all. also, i only got about 700 shots out of the tank. then, i switched it back to stock form (bottomline, no remote), and ran co2, and i could get it to 275, but no higher.

now, i know with the flatline, i don't want it any higher, but i SHOULD be able to, right? and what about before? was it the tank, or the remote? could the regulator have something to do with it?

I recently went through the same thing, low velocity only when running a remote with my custom.
I have two questions for you:
Does the valve on your remote lower a pin inside your ASA when you turn the valve knob?
Are you turning the valve until it stops?

If the answer is yes to both, that's the problem.

This valve design should be backed-off when the bottom is reached.
If you don't, the ASA pin sits too far into the tank valve and interferes/restricts the air flow.

Last w/e I backed my remote valve 1/2-3/4 of a turn, and all velocity problems were no more.

Backed-OFF remote valve over the w/e, problem solved
