well for a starting tip from me i would start out by finding someone who owns either and tippmann 98 or A5 and mess around with that for a while and them decide if you really want an X7 (that is what i did) but it is up to you it would be better for you 2 do that then spend all your money and not like the X7... jsut a pointer and if you have done so already then look for a small job here and there to get the money like maybe you could help detasle corn (if i spelled that right) it isn't a lot of fun but my brother did it for 4 weeks and got over $500 for it. but just a tip. hope it works out for you

alright so sorry for bringing up an old thread but now im thinkin of gettin an x7 i used an ion not to long ago and my 98 just isnt the same, i dont want an ion because i go through to many balls with that and i figure tippys are rugged and the x7 is customizable and ive been thinkin of gettin an ak version

i would also like to get an x7 but i would cut out the cost on the cosmetics. getting a stock, an e grip, and a barrel, and possibly a sight is the best way to go. Everything needs to serve a purpose, except the whole milsim look of stock gun. thats the only thing you cant change, but personally, the feel of a real gun is more comfortable, seeing as im an ex- airsofter using only replicas.

nope is got a x7 and it is the shizz, eframe, 14" barrel, and folding stock best gun ive had, my 98 was up there to but its just under the x7
