I am looking for the best oil/lube for my A-5. Anyone have any preferences?

Always used Hoppes 9 on my Tippmanns with no problem.

Air tool oil will work fine.

Also any paintball gun specific oil will work well.

Just put a few drops in your ASA before airing it up and you will be good to go.

excuse me and correct me if i am wrong but are you sure you are talking about lube? isn't lube a thicker consistancy? i know that dropping some gun oil in my asa is great for performance, but wouldnt lube clog that hole? i thought it has to be spot placed i just dont know where...

What kinda of stuff are you using? I have used A couple different kinds of stuff that were labeled as "lube" but seemed to have the same consistency as oil.

If the stuff you have actually is thicker I would just put a light coat on your bolt and striker.

Ahh ok.. Just give your O-rings, bolt, and striker a light coat of it and that should have you ready to go.

I would use the lube in place of oil.
