Hey i have a tippmann 98 with a 16" ceramic barrel a x40 rifle scope and a 6 pos. stock and i'm wondering what else i should get for it to make it rock.

take the scope off... its quite pointless for paintball. i recomend the apex barrel.i have one for my tippmann alpha black which is the same as the 98..

No offense but to really make it rock you will have to get a different marker.. You would spend more than what a better, faster marker would cost you to purchase brand new..

get a rufus dawg doube trigger, ricochet hopper, bipod(?) and ditch the scope. get a laser sight if u want a nice sight because scopes dont do much. they are really hard to look into with ur mask on but the laser sights are easy because they are open

I agree, scopes are kinda more for look that anything, and with goggles on they don't do much for you unless you've got it mounted in such a way that you can make it work in your favor, such as on top of a carrying rail or something. I agree with the guy above me, laser sight all the way.
I might get flamed for this but don't really care, but I'd look into a responsive trigger and/ or a cyclone feeding system. I throw in the cyclone feeding system as to possibly prevent any chopped paint by synchronizing the loading system with the trigger mechanism, and if I'm not mistaken they actually require a separate kit (about 20 or so dollars) to work in tandem. But if you want a rockin' marker, a responsive trigger might do you good.
Stay away from Flatline and Apex. Your barrel is good as is.

I would recommend polishing the internals and getting an expansion chamber, that will make you accuracy and air usage better. After that you could go with a response trigger or etrigger if you really want to but I wouldn't recommend it.

Expansion chamber? Are you using air or CO2?
I'd suggest getting an HPA tank if you don't have one yet before you get any upgrades at all. CO2 is horribly inconsistent and the money you'll spend on the expansion chamber and the vertical adapter you can use for a cheap 3000 psi tank that'll fare you better than any CO2 tank in existence. Plus, CO2 will freeze up your marker during the winter. Get rid of it ASAP, then worry about upgrades.
