New a5 noob trouble!!!

Ok, obviously new to paintball. Used play with my friends guns or rentals but never had to maintain or adjust/operate my own gun. I just bought an a5 and got a fresh tank of co2 and took it out back to fire cocked it and pulled, fired fine, pulled again and nothing, press the manual cyclone advance lever and pulled the trigger and it fired. When I fire as fast as i can it only actually fires a paintball every 2 or 3 shots.

Thanks!

Check your ratchet and feeder axle for signs of wear, my Tippmann A5 is new too and i've already replaced it once already.

it doesnt jam, the loader only feeds a ball every 2 or 3 shots. The ratchet is fine, the catch spring for the ratchet was pretty tight so i bent it back very slightly and when I cycle the loader manualy it seems to cycle slightly easier. Do you think the cyclone piston is no holding pressure? or locking up? Is there a way to adjust the amount of pressure that cycles the cyclone loader?

Thanks

my a5 seemed to do this when i first unboxed it and took it out back for some target practice. i adjusted the FPS setting and it seemed to work fine after that.
