Range is crap after upgrades.

I just went and purchased the response trigger, the cyclone feeder, and I upgraded from C02 to HPA with an remote line, and I also baught an adjustable stock.

I bought a smart parts progessive barrel a while back before this but i'll mention it now.

Before the upgrades I could get a considerable amount of range. I'm not sure how far it was- bad at estimating, but since I upgraded yesterday and tested it all out, the range is at least only a quarter of what it was before.

Sure it fires real fast- automatic now if I want to, but this sucks if the range is crap.

I tried to adjust, but one thing I have noticed with the tippmann 98 custom, is that the adjustment screw really doesn't do a thing. I can turn it all the way in or all the way out, and my range and speed is always the same.

does anybody have any suggestions or advice.

go back to CO2, might be the HPA not giving enough pressure.

if your adjustment screw isn't doing anything, another thought besides TheAznInvazn's pressure comment would be the spring in the gun being worn out (highly unlikely if all of it sudden it did that), i suggest get a tighter spring?

or that you lost something that normally puts pressure on the spring. I know spyders have that problem if you loose the spacer.

yeah the spring in the gun could be very well be worn out. just get a tighter one and see if things get better.

Question Anyone.

I am very grateful for your reply, but I still don't know what spring you guys are meaning. None of your advice will help if i don't know which spring you mean that I need to tighten, or replace.

Can somebody please clear this up for me.

thanks,

Thanks, thats the one I was thinking, cause I couldn't think of any other as well, but I just wanted confirmation before I went out and starting buying springs.

Thanks again,

And thanks to everyone else who answered.

I hope you aren't out randomly buying springs.

Maddman Spring Kits are your one stop solution.
