ghandi and braka, flatliner was talking about telescopic sights and how they would be pointless. the stock sight is a sight and an elbow release all in one.

sights=waste of money
also, right feed cockers and right feed mags have offset feed systems...along with many others. tippmanns are not by far the only one that has offset loaders

Scopes are great for rifles, but for paintball it just becomes a piece of gun jewelry. Red dot sights are good, but you won't always be firing with the tank to your shoulder.

Has anyone else noticed that the sights that come with tippies seem off? I fixed my friend's A-5, put on my tank and put in some paint, and tested it out. The sight was horrible! I even used a laser pointer to line it up. Of couse, it could be the fact that he's using a stock barrel, and I was using RPS prems...
Yeah, sights are pointless. I just aim down the side of my gun, trracer or spyder. It works- just takes some getting used to.

I had a $10 wal*mart scope on my bb gun from when I was little, so I took it off and put in on my marker when I got the flatline system. I actually got it to hit rather consistently with the scope (at a respectable distance, too). So maybe it's not a complete waste of money...I also have a laser site that I'll use just for the hell of it if I ever do any night/dusk games. Prob'ly not that smart, but it doesn't really matter that much to me. It's a game.

ya^^^ the cheap red dot scopes work great with a flatline...cuz the bal actually goes flat and straight...so in that case they work good. Other then that....they are vertually useless
