Double Trigger Kit

Can any one tell me what the trigger pull is like on the Double Trigger Kit for an A-5?

Depends on how short, you might not want to hack the stock spring. Try doing the pen spring mod in the stickys section of this forum first.

^^ cut the clicky pen spring to about one coil longer than the stock spring and you should have a sweet trigger pull.

The pull is longer, think about it. It's the same pivot point but a longer level, making a longer swing.

Like the above said, you can shorten it in many ways. If you plan on getting an E-grip make sure you get a GTA double trigger NOT any other brands as they will not function with the E-grip.

Having a double trigger allows you to use which ever fingers you want to fire. Also having a double trigger opens the options for you to walk, rake, and fan, ect. Double triggers are becoming an icon of paintball, with good reason. They’re a lot more comfortable, and make shooting much easier.

Because there isn't the need to shoot that quickly with a real gun, plus the ones that do shoot fast operate with full automatic or burst firing.

The other reason of the double trigger is to allow you to use two fingers, reducing the fatigue on one finger. Real guns usually aren't firing for that long period of time, therefore the need for a double trigger on a real gun is minimal.

The pistol on the Xbox game "Halo" has a double trigger though, just a little FYI .

thats cool, though i dont see how a longer trigger can help you fire faster, however i should try it and find out for myself

Think about it. Real guns your accuracy is MUCH higher, and the gun it’s self is a heck of a lot more efficient then say a paintball gun.

A double trigger on a firearm today would be the laughing stock of the world. Automatic is allowed, so there is no need to walk the trigger. Also the kickback would prevent anything close to accurate fire, which is exactly what you need when you’re firing a firearm.

if you shoot with an index finger than there is greater levrade(sp?) and you can shoot faster because of it.
In terms of walking, you arent gonna be doing that with a tippy unless you have an ebolt

All is fair in war =) Including having more than one bullet fired for each pull of the trigger.

Semi restrictions are just a way to drive the price of guns up.

Trig pull is exactly the same, unless you do light trigger mod like i did. Just replace the trigger spring with a clicky pen spring, people say you need to cut it but i didnt and its fine. You can also shorten the pull itself but i havent done that yet so i dont think i should comment on how to do it.

To walk your fingers is to alternate hitting the trigger with your index and middle finger. Most people find they can acheive much higher bps by walking their triggers.

basicly put both your fingers on a desk...then simply start "walking" around the desk top with your fingers. Then turn your hand to the side and do the same walking motion...thats walking a trigger.

Your cant walk a tippmann mech. trigger unlless u do heavy trigger mods or get a Ebolt/Egrip
