Have you ever noticed that people with thousand dollar markers like to flame us poor little tippmann owners. Like we don't realize that their markers are superior? If I spent 10 times as much on something, I would certainly hope that it worked better. What many of them don't seen to realize is that a modded tippmann can shoot 15-18BPS reliably and with a skilled player, can be competitive. So to all the newbs and those of us who hold on to our tippys just cause we like them... poohh on those haters.

Sorry, it's late and I felt like ranting. Plus we need some post after the hacking incident.

What about the E-trigger or double trigger. If you are skilled with a double trigger system you can kick some major @$$.

You can get a firestorm crank and get that fast and its legal but you need a stock to stabilize the gun cuz it puts your shots all over the place.

EDIT: From what I have been told, they are legal. Personally I wouldnt own one.

correct, only semi auto is alowed during tourney play, and most paintball fields. it is possable to dry fire a tippmann very fast with a sweetspotted s/t trigger, but with the offset feed on the tippmann, ive never seen a model 98 hit more than 15 balls a sec, and thats only for a short string.

people at your field make fun of people with tippmans becase generally, people with tippmanns suck. all you have to do is disprove them. their not making fun of the gun, thier making fun of the player with the gun. when i used my tippy, i tore the field up. i could lane anyone off the break, i couldnt make cross the field shots, but i played aggressive, and i eliminated people. tahts all you gota do to win someones respect

for the price it would take to buy and modd a tippman to shoot 15bps+ you could buy a Dragun tes and an egg so hahahaha

Which is why tippmann owners get made fun of. I thought about getting an a-5 with an e-grip until I realized that for the same $ I could get a BKO or a cocker.

Something's wrong here... I've seen an uber-modded 98C shoot 15 bps for about 10 seconds. It had some weird kit, an electro trigger, and a ?halo B? Oh well.

The two most popular n00b guns are tippies and spyders, thus we get flamed the most. I personally see nothin wrong with either. It's just that some people are starting to regret spening $1000 on a marker that they have no chance in hell of using to its potential, so they compensate by attempting to make fun of spyder/tippy-users.

ballistic sports makes a very nice e-bolt kit for the 98c...

tippmann effect's a-5's were clocked at 22bps.

sure, for that price you can buy a nice cocker, and i would take the cocker over the tippmann too.

tippmanns are not high end guns. they are low and intermediate level guns, and are the best of those categories.

simply put, people that make fun of other peoples guns are ****ing losers and need to get off of themselves and just play paintball.

i own a tippmann, and 2 spyders.

i also own a mag and a cocker, which is another huge "rivalry"

who cares...you guys are losers if you think you need to "join forces" against something. you should join forces against yourselves and commit.

that video of the tippamn shooting 24 bps has to be fake there is no way and he is using automatic that takes not skill. but tippmans are cool my friend has one and i love shooting it. they are good reliable guns most ofthe time.

Why can't it be real? He isn't shooting any paint, so technically he's just cycling. It’s very possible for a Tippmann to cycle that fast. Feeding it that fast is another story. It looks like he was sweet spotting using a R/T so yea, it’s very possible

As far as skill goes, I’d like to see you do it. Give some of these guys credit, sweet spotting is like an art form, if you can master it, then it can only help you. Check out some of the videos in the AGD section of Z man pulling 30+ bps. It’s crappy paint but it’s pretty cool!
