Dude get the cocker, unless you dont mind being dissed for dumping a whole lot of money into a tippy. However, your tippy will never let you down. If you decide to stay tippy then heres what I recommend.

E-bolt
68/4500 HPA tank preset to about 800psi
Halo B or an EGG2
rocket cock
rear velocity adjuster
double trigger

or just get the cocker or people will diss you for throwing alot of money into what they call a "low end gun" If you do the mods I listed above you'll have a smokin' Tippy that is tourney legal.

Most people say to get an "04 cocker" does this mean a 2004 Worrgames Autococker? It just seems so much more complex, i'de be worried it would break...

Can somone explain in detail the benifits of a Marker being an Autococker?

Also, is there some website I can learn how to navigate the insides of a marker?
Hmmm......What's your main type of play? tourney or rec. B/c if u mostly play rec or rec is all u play u'd be safe with da upgrades. If ya play speedball and tourney ya might wanna go wit da auto. I'm goin afta a an a5 but that's cuz I mostly play rec/scenario games so I'd be safe stickin wit da gun dat I wanna get.

i had the ebolt on my tippy. i hated it. DONT GET IT. waste of money. the only good thing about it is you can adjust your dwell time. all fields dont let you use any of the extra modes any ways..... i had it for 60 months, never, NOT ONCE, did i shoot any paint on any mode other than semi auto.

if someone wanted to shoot auto they would just get a RT...the hole point of ebolt is so you can walk the semi and get higher ROF...

I perosnally think you should go with the cocker....start doing some reasurch and scuh on how cockers work. Once you get the basics down its not hard at all. In fact...cockers come timed out of the factory...so you wont even have to touch the pnues for like half a year to a year.

If you get a black cocker...then you can still play woodball and you will be fine. U will have a ALOT more concistant gun.....faster shooting...and more accurate.

if you do not already have 1...i would say get a HPA tank, and a electric hopper. If you do not have access to fill a HPA tank..then get Anti-siphon tank. HOwever HPA is ALWAYS the best. Depending on how much money you have...u can either get a cheaper 68/3000 steel tank for likd $100...or a fiber wrapped 68/4500 for $170...

If you get the cocker...I high suggest you get a electric hopper (EMPIRE RELOADER) and a HPA tank....if you get those you will get great starter performance out of ur cocker....then you can sell your tippy and possibly buy a new barrel for the cocker...then you will be set.

he is a newb why should he get a gun that is made for the more advanced player. Stick with the tippmann and get a electric hopper and a double trigger and you should be fine. There is no need for him to get all that stuff when all he needs is to shoot a little faster. And this way you will save a ton of money and maybe in the future get a auto-cocker when you are a more experienced player. But untell then wait and see what suites you style of play.

he is not a noob...u are...your gonna end up WASTING money. You said it yourself...that he may get a cocker in the future....if he does...then spending $500 on his tippmann woudl have gone down the drain.

Get the cocker now...you will end up buying one someday down the road...u got the cash so spend it on a cocker.

Untill you play with a cocker for a full day...you will never realize how much better it is. It is just more consistant and better overal...its easier on the paintballs so you will hardly EVER have a break...beleive me..once u play with a cocker u will never go back.

eblade dosnt come with a double trigger to walk.... i think if it was emtn for that, it would come with a key part that would allow you to accomplish this.... but i see what your saying. if a tourny player would get a ebolt then yes, they should be able to walk the trigger.

but the truth is, i would rather use a spyder shutter than my tippy e bolt.... and thats exactly what i did in my first young guns tourny....
