the size of the bore should be a good indication that its not a real firearm
|
have you ever heard of a .50 caliber machine gun lol....cuz paintballs are .68....so unless you look extremely closley...your not going to notice a difference.

i know its not cardboard, but you can get the desired effect quite easily by taking a plasma cutter to a military issue steel ammo box/tin

direction is lost on the poor man who spent time and money trying to make a paintball gun look like a real devastating weapon
this is the wrong direction for paintball in my opinion

This gun would be really awesome at a scenario game. The thing is, it can really ONLY be used at a scenario game. I have nothing against speedballers etc., but please don't disrespect others just because they enjoy a different play style than you. There IS more to paintball than just speedball.

this has nothing to do with speedball vs. woodball...this has to do with making paintball guns that look like real firearms, and weather that is ok or not

The thing that gives paintball a bad name are the people out using there paintball guns to vandalize homes and other property. Not people making paintball guns that look like a real gun. I think we will all get over the fact that his paintball gun looks real.

Yeah, I agree Levi S. Completely. It pissed me off when I saw "8 mile" (with eminem ), and they shot at people and cops and stuff from their car. THAT is the kinda crap that gives paintball a bad name. Millions of people saw that movie.

um...not only that...but the milsim thing. Do you really think parents LIKE to see thier kids running around with paintball guns that look like real guns.
Comon guys just think...these people have never played paintball before...so to add in paintball guns that look real is not gonna give them a good impression of the sport

its a body kit that this guy sells, they are pretty cool. Also they remove in a matter of 2-3 minutes he says. (i dont have one)
Also. if someone has one of these i seriously doubt that they would be the little ***hole vandles with the $50 pumpgun from wallmart. these senario guns are owned by serious players most likly
maybe you all should think about the person who spends the money on the kit and the wardrobe for milsims. Instead of just speaking down on all of them.

no one ever said just cuz they have milsim...that they are vandals...u really need to read wat I post...
I am saying having people running around with markers that look like real guns, in a sport that is already portraid as people running around pretending to kill each other...isnt a good way to go with this sport.

if u havnt noticed...umm the hole adult generation in gerneral are parents...so when i say parents...i mean adults as a whole.
im not a bad kid...and when i first wanted to get into air soft my parents wouldnt let me...if you havnt figured it out...its the good kid's parents that are always the ones giving paintball flack...the bad kid's parents dont care about n e thing...thats why they are bad kids in the first place.
Then these parents try to bann paintball guns in general...and try to shut down local fields. and when parents look at ALL paintball guns (even the ones that look nothing like real guns..the ones that look like guns from halo) as a bad thing...then see the milsim guns...which look like freakin real ones...that is not gonna be a good combanation

i still dont see the problem with guns that look real, just dont be flashing them around, dont use them except for in a designated area, dont go running around yur woods with them, use them at a field. as long as you keep it in a bag there should be no problem with it

Looks like you put a Trojan Magnum condom box on the side of a stock Tippmann 98. Dude, before you start trying to make your gun look like a machine gun, give it the mods to make it do that. Anything 'E' apparently isn't too good on the 98s, but how bout maybe the rt and a low-comp. Come on, seriously, try getting your butt off the ground and shoot someone standing up, it really isn't that hard.

Engler makes something simular, but says that he doesn't sell a kit for it. you have to buy the whole gun already assembled for a whopping $1700.00 + 50 S&H

Obviously someone has a bad opinion of scenario/woodsball style paintball. Do you play any war-simulations games on the PC, PS2, XBOX maybe? Simulations are a lot of fun. I’m 33 years old. I was in JROTC in High School, we used to get together on the weekends and have bivwacks out in the woods. Hand to hand combat, usually 2 squads, one squad would set up and ambush then the other squad would try to break the ambush. If only we had the technology and the quality of paintball guns back then that we have now, we would have had even more fun.
I later went on to serve a 4 year term in the military. I played paintball for the first time once in San Diego when I was 19 and stationed at Mira Mar Naval Air Station in Mira Mesa California. I didn’t have any paintball gear or a marker, so a navy buddy of mine let me borrow one of his. It was the ORIGINAL green plastic Forest Ranger style P.O.S. pistiol and it only shot one round at a time and had 12gram c02 cartridge. They were just coming out with constant air canisters and the rapid repeater style markers about that time. Even at that, back then, I never would have dreamed of a day when you could take a low cost paintball gun (like a Tippmann) and have endless possibilities for upgrades and mods, much less make them look like, M4’s, M16’s, Browning M2’s, H&K G36’s (my personal fav) etc.
Giving paintball a bad name? I think not, expanding paintballs horizons and popularity I say. I just started playing paintball again 6 months ago as soon as a buddy of mine showed me a site that had unlimited mods for a Tippmann
