Flatline????
Not trying to put it done...iI love my tippmann, but is the Flatline Barrel System all its cracked up to be. I've seen a few used before but never made a comparison on distance or accuracy....if it is all it says please tell me.
Thanks

but from what i've heard a lot of people love it and a lot of people hate it, i'll pm you a website where you can see people's reviews

Why not?
going from the stock barrel of either an m98 or an a-5 to a flatline is a big improvement. It has its drawbacks though. 1-Price-$120 (pending on where you get it from) 2-Loss of Velocity-not really a major porblem actually, but hits on a target 200-300 ft away are more likely to bounce off. I personally have had an awesome time with it, pegging guys 150 ft away in wood-ball is fun stuff.

well considering you wouldnt be able to hit a target 200-300 feet away with a normal barrel either...you dont really have to worry about

i was hit 200 feet away in the goggles and it bounced becuase of the flatline. although it has increased distance it loses so much velocity by the time it gets 200 feet that nothing breaks on anyone.

and a normal barrel would bounce too...IF it even got there...which it wouldnt if your playing in the woods cuz u would have to aim up so much
do you guys even know how far 200 feet is

you people do not understand the flatline...when they say extra distance...they dont mean how far the paintball can literally go...they mean how far it will go untill it starts to arc.
The huge advantage to the flatline is because of its flat tregectory, not because of the added distance.
dhill...the guy simply asked if the flatline does wat it is said to do, and it does, it will perform like it is advertised....he didnt ask "is the flatline the right barrel for me"....i dunno wats been wit u latly...but its like ur PMSing 24/7

people dont buy the flatline for the trajectory though. they buy it for distance and accuracy. if the paintball hits a treebranch the trajectory makes no difference

I bought mine for the flat trajectory and I only take my shot within 150 ft, So I love it and it works really good with my red dot. My flatline will forever be part of my 98 RT.
