sear spring

Hey, I have a 98c that im selling to a friend of mine but he doesnt want the r/t so im gonna take it out. I heard that wen u buy it it comes with a different sear spring that u put in place of the old one, but I just had the proshop do it because they do it for free and they didnt give me the old one. If i keep the new one in will the gun work ok and if i sell the r/t to someone and just have them use the original sear spring will that also be ok? thanks

The spring that comes with the RT has to stay with the rt. So if you are going to sell the RT seperate, then you need to find another spring to replace the stock one, unless you still have it (I couldn't tell by how you worded it up there.) So either he buys the gun with the RT, or you have to look for another spring to give him (he could go buy a spring kit, too, they aren't that expensive.) Hope that helps.

Mike
