need help asap

im selling my tippmann, but keeping the r/t, and i decided to give it to my brother for his birthday which is tomorrow. When i was screwing in the two little screws into the chamber, somehow the internal part of the chamber stripped . Do the screws go all the way into the chamber, meaning it will leak without the screw? or are they just there to hold it in place? i need an answer asap bc like i said its for his birthday which is tomorrow.

are you talking about the screws that hold the valve in?
i managed with just one in there and you should be fine if one is all the way in and one is part

Valve screws it sounds like. My 98 doesn't have any... works fine! You really should have at least one in there though. They tend to strip very easily. Mine came from Tippmann like that.

ya...the metal the valve itself is made out of is apsoultely terrible quality...it is so soft. You can strip the threads so easily.

i didnt screw mine in and my gun would shoot 1 ball really far and the other one would go about 2 feet. The guy at my local paintball store said air was escaping from where the screws were supposed to go
