wierd problem
I just bought a tippmann A-5and shot it a few time and half the balls popped. I noticed this orange thing that is sticking out behind the threads were the barrel goes and in front of the bolt.
Is that supose 2 be there or is that the problem. Otherwise it could be my paintballs i guess. If it is the thing ill just glue it down but i wana know if its supose 2 be there or not.
I apreciate any help
Thanks

That little orange guy is the ball detent. It is there to allow only one ball to roll into the chamber at a time. Running without it is generally a bad thing to do, as it will allow double feeding and even more ball breaks.
Try turning down your velocity to stop the breaks. Since it's a new gun I'll assume it hasn't be to a chrono to check the speed yet.

Correct me if i am wrong but i do believe that tippmann's have a rear and front sight on them. How do you use them with the hopper (and the little thing the hopper goes into) in the way?

Right, Tippmanns have the hopper off set to the right side. The sight line down the top of the gun is not blocked.

Yup Making it easy to mod the marker using the dovetails, but if you prefer there are items to place it above the gun, but who wants that

Your tanks full? Your rear bolt is oiled? Is its O-ring in good shape?

Everything seems fine. Co2 isnt full bolt seems fine and oring is new. I think it could be the power tube or one of the bolts. Has anyone had this problem before?

Take a look at your sear and spring. See if it is worn or if something is stopping it from catching the hammer like it should be.

I had to replace the sear spring on my A5 and now when I shoot it I can feel co2 on my trigger hand (coming through the grip) and i can see liquid co2 coming out of the barrel.
I'm assuming this is from keeping the sear open for too long, but should the sping be longer(tighter) or shorter(more loose)?

The Flatline works fine with the RT. The only thing is that you really need a hopper that is electric to keep up with the RT, but that is true regardless of which barrel you have.

Need Help! I Bought a A-5 on EBAY, it came with Flatline, Low-compression, drop forward, double trigger, a 92ci nitro tank. Everthing worked fine, I then purchased an E-Grip and this is when the problem happens. I disassembled the grip to add the double trigger, put everything back and loaded nitro and only shot full auto, i tried to change setting and rates, but stayed same. Then I noticed that I used the original load spring, but the one that came with E-Grip was different, so I installed that one, then the it only fired semi auto. I noticed that the double trigger had an additional slider spring in it, so I removed. Now when I cock the marker the trigger doesn't release the chamber and does nothing, put back original grip and trigger and same result, repeated different times with both grips and cannot get trigger to release the cock mode of the marker. What the heck did I do? Please help, obviously I am newbie in this. Thnks

98 Dumping Air
My sons 98c rapid fires for 3-7 seconds and drains the co2 tank. I remember reading something about this but can't remember the responses. Is the co2 tank to low on pressure and this is just the final dump, or is this a common problem with an easy fix?

It sounds like the tank's about empty. If it does that and at the end has failed to recock itself, my money is on the tank being near empty.
