youll get about 10 shots per ci for 3000psi tanks, and 15 shots per ci for 4500psi tanks, do the math.
and yes, itll either be a red regulator which crossfire tanks have, or itll say HIGH output somewhere on the regulator(on the tank)
my angel tells me how fast i shoot, i recorded and measured my cocker speed with an audio program(actually brandon(flatliner)did it for me)

well they work exactly the same, except the 6stage has 2 more chambers and more room for liquid to expand to gas...so yea the 6stage is better. but more expensive and bigger.
both will serve well, but the 6stage will work slightly better at colder temperatures.

All I have for my tippy is a new 14" barrell....I want to get upgrades, and this review helps a lot. what I really need to know is what order I should get things in. I don't have enough money to spend on a lot of extra things, so my upgrades to my gun tend to be few and far between. In chronological order, after the barrell, what parts should I get?

1. barrel
2. agitating hopper, either a reloader or a 12v xboard revvy.
edit: 2.5 double trigger
3. nitro, or palmers stabilizer/xpansion chamber if nitro is not an option
4. drop forward if you want it
5. Response trigger if you want it.

What else should I add?
Great thread. I am looking for suggestions on additional upgrades. Here is my current set-up (and please spare me criticism of wasting money--it's a hobby).
I have the Tippmann A5 (obviously). I have added a CAR stock, tactical sling, Flatline barrel, Response trigger with a double trigger, changed the rear bolt after polishing interior with a Shocktech superfly (not sure if notice any difference), High Pressure Air tank (sweet!) with a remote, All sorts of weaver sight attachments including both a lapco offest and some other offset (depending on my mood), various red-dot scopes--but I am waiting for a quick sight designed by the guys at opsgear that doesn't use a red dot--probably will work better with scenario play) and a front handle banana clip from a HK MP5 just for looks (actually provides a lot more handle --but less comfortable than straight handle).
Things I'm considering: How to get more efficiency out of this gun? Looking for better hopper--I'm left handed and the darn thing is always in the way--somebody has to make a more streamlined hopper with better line of sight? Better Cyclone feeder--the gears keep wearing out after about 6 months?
Any other thoughts? Thanks.

The lpk is a lot of money to add to a $250 marker but for me it was worth it. The biggest improvement I got was a large reduction in recoil. The new hammer that comes with the kit is much lighter than the stock one. This lets me hold a steady 12bps and keep it on target much better.

I recently acquired a regular model 98, what low to mid cost barrel would you suggest?
Also, is a flatline barrel worth the money for woodsball, which is almost all i play?

Flatline is the best barrel for the woods. Suggestion for a Low cost barrel J&J ceramic only $35 in most places.

I'd say it would work better than cold temperatures because the outside heat will heat it back up faster. But on the other hand it is more needed in cold because CO2 needs more surface area to soak heat from. It won't hurt in either case.
