help me out, i am looking to buy a tippman 98 custom. I had the site once but cannot find it again.

They had a 98 custom "sniper" setup i really liked and i am trying to get my hands on it, but not luck finding the site again.

ANY HELP????

you must not have looked very hard, that kit is all over the place, check out 888 and 800, alo BT has new parts of them, i cant post links as im sure u know

I would like if I may, try to sway you from buying the 98 sniper setup. All it is, is a 98 custom with a flatline, a stock and a remote. The stock and remote is worthless, even in woodsball, I have had both on mine and it was the biggest waste of over $100 I have ever been a part of. Just get the flatline and call it a day. You'll thank me for it.

Well, i wouldnt sway you from buying it, but i would try to delay you. Get the flatline, yea thats a good barrel if your willing to take care of it. Stock is something you should try only after youve played a few games. But first you should try to find someone else that has one and ask if you can use it around or even just wave it around a bit. My freind rocks his stock and loves it. I hate it because for me its uncomfortable compared to my nice rounded tank

i personaly like my stock, great thing is if i lend the gun out u can just fold the stock around so its against the side of the gun and out of your way

Well its not the "sniper" tippmann i was looking at. I think it was opsgear.com or something.

The one i am looking for does not have the flatline system, i think it had a Dye barrel or something, they basically carried everything to set up a stock 98c.

I really didnt like the flatline barrel, it was nice. But i could find a few other barrels for cheaper.
I am currently using a Spyder Compact 2000, it has a custom built rear stock and i like it, but the old compact is due for a replacement. So having a rear stock is really comfortable to me and i like the stability it gives me when i need to have it.

if you play ONLY scenario/woods go for it, but if oyu play anything else dont buy it. thats a waste of money too but if you have money to BURN its your choice

well all i play is woods and scenario.....

I have money saved up so i was also think armotech but the rep isnt near as good as Tippmann

Yep tippmann definitely beats out armo for milsim
