Ok, i have a crank so i can answer this. First off, bet him 5 dollars that he will get rid of it. Yes, it does give higher ROF, i can get about 3 turns a second "12 bps" and sometimes more, but, you get 0 accuracy. Not because of recoil but because both your hands are at the back of the gun and trigger so it waves around. It says u can still use the trigger normally but i find that this is not very true because you cant get your entire finger in the trigger area to push it, this also makes snapshooting next to impossable. This is a good upgrade ONLY if you are mounting your tippy onto a tank where it will have a stationary base so that it wont wobble while you shoot. NOT a good upgrade for someone that that still wants to play normally, if you want to become a stationary machine gunner type guy, its still not worth it. I tried this approach is several 40+ woodsball games but it still isnt good when you have to adjust your aim. After a day of not getting anyone out, i took it off for a game of bruiseball and got 12 eliminations. I havent used it since, oh yea, it also mauls the **** out of the trigger guard.
tl;dr Not goot for a person, May be okay as a mounted gun
