I have a 20z tank, is that enough for 500 balls? its about 65f when i play, and soon ill have an expansion chamber on it. But for now without the expansion is a 20z tank enough?

i tihnk a 14oz is more the enough for 500 balls. i dont know, it depends on the cyclone system. thats one of the mistakes i made. i m probably gonna have to pick up 2x 20oz tanks. since if i do play, i play for 3 days straight. and there is no pb store on the island i play on. (petes island, me)

as everyone else said... its fine for 500 shots.but if youre planning on shooting 1000+ a game i would diffinatly get a pack with a spot for another tank. i dont see how anyone can shoot 500+ a game anywayz

it happens disazter, chad, did u chrono your gun when that happened? might have had ure velocity too high. getting an x chamber will help effeciency too, not to mention consistancy.

Why would you pay for a 114oz when you can spend a couple more bucks and get a 20oz? Stick with the 20oz, you'll be good.

the A-5 uses ur air system for the cyclone feed but u might have to get another fill of co2 if ur playin for the day. my dad wants to get that gun, is it good?

if you get a new barrel its ok. And im aware of how the gun feeds. Thats why this question arose.

Lord Headly: Yeah i have a 20z, but i filled both my 14 and 20. I used the 14 for just shooting off 500 balls and i only got through like 300 of them.

i thought it used excess air?

somethings wroung if thats all u get out of a 14oz, my 9oz shoots 300 from my tippmann and still has some left. could u possible be useing a small ball? fps up to high? recently switch from a short to long barrel?

it does if you ask tippmann

. but it def. winds up using more air than running the same power tube w/o the cyclone, i seriouly doubt that there is enough excess gas to run the cyclone, not to mention if u also have the react trigger...

Yeah everyone already asked all that. And btw a barrel is about the smallest factor is co2 usaging, because it doesn't affect it dirrectly.........

my a-5 uses the same amount of air as my 98 custom; with my 20 oz. tank i get over 1000 shots off before i have to refill

yeah, before i bought my expansion chamber, i was using a 20, soo it should last you. Course i only go through, like a hopper and a half though. all depends how much you spray.

20 oz is actually rather perfect, especially on a big gun like that, it balances it out real well, and it fits comfortably under your arm.

A good fill on a 20oz should give you about 1000 shots with an A5 or a 98. Should also get about 1000 shots out of a 68/4500. If you play in a colder climate I highly recommend you sling the dough for a HPA tank. Well worth the $150 I spent on mine.

i am going to get a hpa tank. I am not goin to fill till them myself and the only place that will fill them around here can only fill to 3000psi, at least for now
