high output? What psi is that? I kinda was hoping for the ability to use a reg so i can test difference psi's and set it so the paint would maintain a constant fps of about 280 for a flatline. Or does a constant psi not really affect how many fps the gun is shooting?

Cause i was thinking like 325 psi like the comp air system gives to the a-5 only doing it with a cheaper reg.

Or am i way off? lol

High output tank is at around 800 psi i think (feel free to correct me if im wrong). You do not need the comp air system.

nope, just another way to get more of your money. i would reccommend buying a good reg, but you don't have to if u don't have the cash or w/e. just screw er on and go. hpa tanks and co2 tanks have about the same output pressure.

exactly, dont even buy a reg...get a rear velocity adjuster if anything...that regulates spring tension which regulates how much air is used in the operation of the gun.

yeah you're right, there isn't that much point in a reg for a tippy...an expansion chamber(for co2 which i realize isn't being used here) and rear velocity adjustment are better ups than a reg for a tippy...

If i do get a reg will i have to buy a macroline kit though?

if you have a scuba shop around you'll probably have to buy yourself a scuba fill kit and then rent out a tank(that is if ure feild dosne't have hpa)

i don't play at a field. I play woods in the real woods lol.

Would it be easiest to get a macroline kit? are they hard to install? run the air on a normal steal hose into the reg, then out of the reg into a macroline kit and into the gun?

? kinda lost u there buddy. if possibe, i'd just run all steel. to me its kinda like the diff(and you'll get this one) between you're ole grey flat ide cable and a nice pretty round colored ide cable...showing off my geekdom there

as for the tank fills, then you'll have to rent/buy your own scuba tank and have it refilled at the scuba shop and buy your own scuba fill station(like 30 bux or less)

you dont need 2 hoses.

you simply screw the reg into the tombstone adapter...or spend(waste) money on the vertical adapter kit. xpaintball.com doesnt offer then so youll need to look elsewhere.

but yea, run the hose from the drop forward or asa adapter into the reg, and you are set. macroline is much easier to work with so id suggest that over stainless steel hose.

sorry for my stupidity guys. I didn't realize the reg screwed into the tombstone adapter.

OK One more question.

How do i find out how much pressure is left in my tank? Can i get an adapter with a gauge to put dirrectly on the tank? Like when storying it

most compressed air tanks come with a guage on them, if they don't include a guage they will usually have a place where one can be mounted. if it dosen't have a place for one then you can always get a drop foward w/ a good on/off that has a setup where you can put the line on either side, this will allow you to mount a guage on one side and our feed line on the other. but chances are that you won't need to do any of that, most tanks have a guage...just giving you alternatives in case u wind up w/ a tank that dosen't...

yeah thanks. Im just gonna buy a used tank when i get some other upgrades (barrel, double trigger, better mask).

BTW is 07 probably a good hydro date for a used tank? ill probably get the tank on jan 1 or dec 17 or dec 25 (so i will get 2 years out of it before the hydro date)

Is that good for say $100 for a 68ci/3000 psi tank? with gauge?
