A newbie question...
I suck, I know it...
I still get problems with gas leaking when its not supposed to. Sometimes it happens when I screw on the tank. I get to a certain point and it just starts spraying. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of playing and all the sudden it starts leaking. Since I play woodsball and sometimes being sneaky is important it doesnt help to have a white cloud of CO2 and a super loud hissing noise! Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong or may be wrong with my 98C?

Have checked and replaced the O-rings on the tank/ASA?

make sure your o-ring doesnt have any gashes or cuts in it...and make sure oyu have one on too.
oil the tank o-ring before screwing it on, that will help as well.

yup, replace ure o-ring. and screw it on fast at first, and when u take it off, that'll help prevent freezing rings.

If the leak is coming from the ASA/Tank connection then you need to replace your o-ring on your tank. Whne taking the tank off turn it very slowly and when it starts to hiss, start firing the marker while unscrewing the tank rapidly and this will help preserve your o rings. Or get HPA which is great about now blowing your o rings, since its not frozen.

Ok, I know you will hate this response but... I've done most of what you have recommended. My first thought was bad o-rings. I wonder how hard you all crank down on the tank when you screw it in? I try to really twist it in there pretty tight - not all out muscling it in but pretty tight. Maybe I'm twisting too hard? Anyway, thanks for the responses.

try backing it off a 1/3 turn or so...all the way in isnt always best.
and if that dont work, maybe your threads are cross-threaded or messed up somehow...in which case youd have to get a new ASA or if its the tank then a new tank valve or replacethetank.
