i never had to much success with teflon tape for some reason.

my suggestion is to use loctite.

loctite works the best IMO...just make sure you get the non perminent stuff so u can get it off with some force.

haha used loctite on my last one and stripped the valve. im also scared that some of the loctite will drip into the valve and F everything up. but i dunno i guess it is a last resort.

like the part were i screwed the gas line into. the threads in the valve are way soft and it might have been the permanent lock tite.

best way to do this is to remove the power tube from the gun and wrap the gasline in 3 wraps of teflon and screw it in one turn past snug. gas it up and then tighten the gas line until it quits leaking. Any further than that and you will most likely tear the teflon and re-initiate the leak. You may have to twist it a little more past the leak in order to line up the ASA so it will be straight when you re-attach the ASA back to the bottom of the grip.

smitty is correct if it did not work for you then chances are you wrapped it around the threads in the wrong direction. You need to wrap it counter clockwise so when you screw it into the valve it does not unwrap it as you go.
