Drop forward Help
Hi I have a 98c and I would like to install a drop forward on but I cannot find the right screws to fit the holes that the asa goes onto and I cannot get my hose of the gas line so that I can put on an elbow please help me with these problems.

if you buy a drop foward, simply use the screws that the stock ASA use to screw into the grip frame. you may have to chop the long one down but big deal. your tippmann came with the proper allen wrenche to take these screws off.

yea.. if ur problem isnt fixed by that.. goto a pb store or a hardware store and get some new screws

I picked us some replacements for those at Autozone, they have a whole selection of screws to choose from, just take the little square nuts with you so you can try it out to make sure the threads are the right size.

I have found screws but I cannot find out how to unscrew the asa from the hose can I get some help please.

leave the ASA attached to the grip (this gives you more leverage)and put a wrench on the airline. Just dont use a crescent (adjustable) wrench. the wrong size or a crescent may strip it and then you'd be in trouble. It has loctite on it, so its gonna take some elbow grease. Once the air line is off remove the ASA from the grip.

Thanks man That all help me out one last thing when I put on the elbow onto the hose and asa should I put on more lock tight???

yeah just use a lil blue locktite. red will work, but if u use too much it ain't never comin off. U migth want to looing into a macro line setup, that means u need to get a xchamber i believe.........not sure tho.........
